Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam’s bustling colonial capital with flight . Your driver will meet you outside of Noi Bai Airport and take you to your hotel in the city center. 

In the afternoon, free time to enjoy the ancient and extremely charming of Hanoi capital.

08:30 Pick up from the guide to visit the Museum of Ethnology which offers a unique opportunity to explore the cultural richness of the numerous ethnic groups present on the Vietnamese territory. After the museum it will be the turn of the Temple of Literature (Quoc Tu Giam), considered the first national university of Vietnam, it was built under the Ly dynasty in the 11th century, the complex served as a place for the worship of Confucius and a school to teach royal children.

Free lunch (not included) in the local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum (only from the outside, as it is closed on Mondays and Fridays) before taking a pleasant walk in the botanical gardens and visiting the Presidential Palace, the house on stilts where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked, Ba Dinh Square, the place where Ho Chi Minh read the declaration of Vietnam's independence from the French in 1945. Then we will stop at the one pillar pagoda, considered one of the most important symbols of the city.

After that you will visit the Tran Quoc pagoda, dating back to the 6th century under the dynasty of Emperor Ly Nam De. Finally, you will take a 40-minute rickshaw ride (xich lo) around Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Restored Sword), which evokes the legend of a giant turtle and a magical sword used to drive the Chinese out of Vietnam, and the Old Quarter of Hanoi with its famous narrow streets teeming with life.

The day ends with a water puppet show, where the daily life, culture and beliefs of the Vietnamese people are told through the water puppets.

21:15 Walk to Hanoi station for the Hanoi - Lao Cai night train.

Arrive at Lao Cai station around 06:30. You will be welcomed by the local English speaking guide.

Continue to visit Sapa by trekking to Y Linh Ho valley. Follow the path downhill, interact with the cute H'mong ladies and children who live in houses nestled in the valley. You will make a stop at the cable car bridge to refresh yourself and to enjoy the beauty that the surrounding nature offers. If you are sporty and adventurous, follow the uphill trek along the buffalo trail (dirt trail) with breathtaking views and fewer tourists. Those who prefer an easier trek can take a leisurely stroll along the Muong Hoa River.

You will then go to Lao Chai Village through a small path that crosses the rice field to the small village. It's a great chance to learn about their daily life and culture. The tour continues with exploring Ta Van village, the charming land of Dzay people, well situated on the hill with a great view of the river, rice terraces and Hoang Lien Son mountain range. As you stroll along the narrow streets of the village you will meet the locals who will kindly invite you to visit their homes.

Have dinner and overnight at the lodge in the village of Ta Van.

Drive to Bac Ha via Thanh Kim, Thanh Phu, en route you can enjoy the breathtaking view of mountains, river and lakes. Located at an altitude of 1000 meters, Bac Ha is home to different ethnic groups such as the colorful Hmong, Phu La and Tay. The Bac Ha region is well known for its weekly and colorful markets, surrounded by a wild and beautiful landscape. The markets are not only for the exchange of goods but also serves as the epicenter for the cultural encounter between the different ethnicities who live in harmony with each other in this region. You will be able to visit a colorful ethnic market that takes place once a week (Coc Ly market - Tuesday, Sin Cheng market - Wednesday, Lung Khau Nhin market - Thursday, Lung Phinh market - Friday, Can Cau market - Saturday, Bac Ha market - Sunday ). You can browse around the market and see the products that are sold in these markets such as vegetables, poultry, horses and buffaloes. Your attention will surely be captured not only by the liveliness of the market but also by the many minority groups in their most colorful attire.

After visiting the market, you will take a short walk through some small ethnic villages that make up Bac Ha, interspersed with corn fields, cassava hills and clay houses, plum gardens adorned by the H'Mong women and their colorful dresses will accompany you for the whole trip.

Finally we will head to Sapa. Take a shared bus and return to Hanoi.

08.00 - 8.30 Leave Hanoi for Halong International Cruise Port in Bai Chay town, Halong city. Refresh up at the lounge.

12.00 - 12.30 Embark Starlight Cruise. Enjoy a welcome drink and get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check-in your cabin.

13.15 Have lunch while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating nature, then anchor at Titop Island area.

15.00 - 16.00 Join a guided visit to Sung Sot Cave (also called Amazing Cave), one of the biggest and the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay.

16.00 - 17.00 Climb to the peak of Titop Island for the panorama view of the bay. Going down and relaxing on the beach, swimming in the crystal water.

17.20 Return Starlight Cruise, enjoying the sunset while relaxing with “Happy Hour” from now to dinner time at the bar.
