DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (-/-/-)

Upon your arrival, your driver would be ready to welcome you right at the arrival  lounge of  Noi Bai international airport and then you will transfer to your hotel in Hanoi . For the rest of the day, it is time at leisure.

Day 2: Hanoi (B/-/)

Breakfast at your hotel.

Free day for private activities.

AmoVietnam advise you  to visit highlight sites of Hanoi: the Presidential Palace (formerly Palace of the Governor-General of French Indochina), Ho Chi Minh house-on-stiltOne-Pillar Pagoda. You continue visiting a natural lake in Hanoi – West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Temple of Litterature.  In the afternoon,  you can visit the Old Quarter  and Hoan Kiem Lake.

The day ended up with a Water Puppet Show which had been maintained there in Vietnam for around 1000 years.

Day 4: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

7.30 – 8.00: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter area.

12.00 – 12.30: Embark at Hon Gai International harbor.

12.30 – 13.00: Check-in, enjoy welcome drink & cruise briefing.

13.30 – 15.00: Have lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long bay; admire the fascinating formations on the way.

15.15 – 15.40: Explore the well- hidden Thien Canh Son cave

15.45 – 18:00: Enjoy relaxing on a white sandy beach at Hon Co island, swimming or kayaking.

18:00 – 19.00: Back to junk for refreshing before having dinner on board.

20.00 – 21.00: Relax, enjoy fresh air & overnight on board.

Day 5: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Train to Sapa (B/L/-)

07.30 – 08.00: Morning view of Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the fresh air.

08.30 – 09.30: Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic row-boat.

10.00: Check out of the cabin. Start cruising towards the harbor while an A la carte lunch is served.

11.45: Go back to Hanoi

Transfer to the station by taxi for your train to Lao Cai.

Day 6: Lao Cai – Sapa – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai (B/L/-)

Arriving in the early morning at Lao Cai station, you would be on a scenic drive to Sapa after the short breakfast at the downtown. You may be catching some wow moments along the way by witnessing spectacular views of rice-terraced mountains besides with hill tribe people (Black H’Mong and Red Dao) walking along the side with unique colorful wares. Your guide would wait to see you to start the trekking along the vast Muong Hoa valley with terraced fields lying on, heading to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages of H’mong and Tay people. Luch at a local house, relax before trekking to Giang Ta Chai Village of Zo people. Go back to Sapa

Day 7: Sapa – Can Cau Market – Bac Ha – Lao Cai- Train to Hanoi (B/L/-)

Breakfast at your hotel.

Transfer to Can Cau Market that takes place every Saturday, you would walk through colorful market of hill tribe people such as Flower Hmong. You will stop in Bac Ha for lunch at homestay of Mr Sa. Relaxing before visiting Ban Pho village and transfer to Lao Cai Station to catch tour train from lao Cai to Hanoi.

Day 8: Hanoi Arrival – Flight to Da Nang – Hue (-/-/-)

Arriving in Hanoi in the early morning . Transfer to an airport in Hanoi to catch your flight from Hanoi to Hue. Upon your arrival, your driver would meet you at Phu Bai airport in Hue and take you to the hotel for check-in.

Day 9: Hue Visit (B/-/-)

Your guide and driver pick you up and transfer you to the wharf for your boat ride on the Perfume River. During the boat trip, you will stop to visit the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, a symbol of Hue – the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship. Then you go to visit the Imperial Citadel of Hue with the Purple Forbidden City – once the Emperor’s private residence. You will be having lunch at a local restaurant.

You may continue to visit a tomb monument of King Tu Duc which is located in a very special area. More than just a tomb visiting, it’s the great chance to learn more about Nguyen King and the landscape is spectacular. Back to hotel, dinner is on your own.

Day 10: Hue –  Hoi An Visit (B/-/-)

Checking out in the morning, you would depart to Hoi An. You may stop by Hai Van Pass. At the height of 450 meters above sea level Hai Van pass is the high dividing line between the climate zones of north and south Vietnam.. Here you can enjoy the magnificent view of the central coast.

Lunch would be served at a local restaurant in Hoi An right after your arrival.

Hoi An comes to your mind as the charming historic city known to early  Western merchants, one of the major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century. Hoi An has a distinctive Chinese atmosphere with low, tiled-roof houses and narrow streets; the original structure of some of these streets is still virtually intact. Many of the houses were constructed of rare timbers and decorated with lacquer panels engraved with Chinese characters and pillars carved with ornamental designs.

Day 14: Nha Trang visit (B/-/-)

08:30 Transfer to visit Nha Trang Bay. You will visit 4 famous island of Nha Trang Bay. Go back to city and you have lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit

Day 15– Day 16: Nha Trang free time  (B/-/-)

Day 17: Nha Trang – Flight to Saigon (B/-/-)

Breakfast at your hotel. 07h30AM trasnfer from your hotel to airport for your flight from Cam Ranh to Saigon. Upon your arrival, you will meet our driver and guide at Tan Son Nhat airport and they will take you to the hotel for check-in.

You would visit the former Presidential Palace, which is now preserved as a museum, including the underground communications bunkers, headquarters for the Saigon Government during the American (Vietnam) War. Following that, you continue with Notre Dame, an impressive neo-Romanesque cathedral in the centre of city, the ‘wedding cake’ styled Hotel D’ville and Dong Khoi streets, formerly the center of haute couture in Saigon when it was known as Rue Catinat.

Day 18: Saigon – Mekong – Cho Lach  (B/L/D)

8h00, pick up at your hotel by our driver. Transfer to Cai Be market (about 100km).

Around 10:30 AM: Arrive Cai Be. Meet your local English speaking guide. Take a boat trip to discover the beauty of Cai Be floating market with local people being selling, buying, and exchanging goods from their boats.  Then go on to a local village to visit a local workshop to see rice paper making, coconut candy producing process, visit orchard garden and discover the daily activities of the local people.

Lunch and enjoy Vietnamese traditional music.

After lunch, take a boat along the Mekong River to Vinh Long – a center of tropical fruit. Diver to Cho Lach.

15:00 check in, relax and visit village, fruit garden and contact local people, go fishing, collect vegetable to prepare for cook

16:30 Cook to local people to make “rice pancake” and dinner with a family (cooking class)

Day 19: Cho Lach – Saigon – Flight to Siem Reap (B/-/-)

Breakfast, bicycle to visit “Cho Lach” (It is up to your health condition, you can choose between 3, 6 or 8 km). Discovery local life, visit fruit garden, school…. Comeback and prepare to check out. Transfer back to Sai Gon. Arrive in Saigon at 2PM and transfer to airport  for your flight to Siem Reap.

Day 20: Siem Reap – Angkor Thom – Phonom Bakheng (B/-/-)

arly morning, visit the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever. And continue to visit the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat – one of the world is most impressive ruins. The temple still owns fine Apsara carvings in Angkorian era art.. At 09 am come back to hotel for breakfast and rest in the noon to avoid of the heats of the day until 15:00 continue exploring the mysterious Royal city Angkor Thom. City & Bayon Its 54-tower temple is an awesome sight. At first glance it seems a shapeless mass of stone, but further scrutiny reveals a face, and then another and another until suddenly you are engulfed by the silent, heavy, enigmatic and silent gaze through half-closed eyes, staring out from a primitive and remote time. Further, visit to the surroundings of the complex including the Baphou, Elephant Terraces, Leper King Terrace and Royal Place area and visit one more ruin in Angkor Area of Preah Khan temple, built in 12th century by King Jayavarman VII and it is the same style to Ta Prom Temple.

Day 21: Siem Reap – Angkor Thom – Ta Phrohm (B/-/-)

Enjoy an entire day dedicated to discovering the mysterious Angkor temples. Start to Visit South gate of Angkor Thom with its majestic doors, monumental temple of Bayon facing the tropical forest and Baphuon and Phimeanakas mountains, elephant terrace and Terrect of the Leper King, Takeo “Jewel of Crystal” is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva and was erected at the end of the 10th century and Ta Prohm temple which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty. Giant trees have grown there for centuries. Return to town for lunch at Tonlesap restaurant. In the evening, Visit Angkor Wat: the 7th World heritage wonder, the founder was Suryavarman II who reigned Cambodia from 1113 to 1152 and built the five towers in the 12th century and dedicated them to the Hindu God Vishnu. The plan of the pyramidal conception of the temple combined with spaces, alleys, ditches is an ancient masterpiece of architectural design and construction.

Day 22: Siem Reap – Pullman to Phnompenh – City Tour (B/-/-)

At 08:00 transfer to Phnom Penh by pullman.

Arrivo, accoglienza alla stazione del Pulman e trasferimento in hotel. In the affternoon, you will visit The Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum and Wat Phnom pagoda.

Day 23: Phnompenh – Saigon / Partenza per Italia  (B/-/-)

At 08:00 am, transfer to Saigon from Phnom Penh by pullman. Upon your arrival, you will meet our driver and transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for flight to Iatalia.
